The following document outlines the competition and clinic schedule for the Bermuda FEI World Dressage Challenge. Certain rules are highlighted for convenience; competitors are responsible for adhering to the competition rules as listed on the FEI website. All competition tests can be found on the FEI website. Please ensure the current tests are used as there have been changes from prior years. www.fei.org

Note: Separate placings will be given for adults and children in Class 1 and 2. A prize for the Best Presented Horse from the Vet Check will be awarded
Starting possibilities:
i. Rider/horse combination:
A rider/horse combination is allowed to start in two different classes but with no
more than one level difference, i.e.: Preliminary-Elementary, Elementary-Medium,
Medium-Advanced or Advanced-PSG.
ii. Rider:
A rider is allowed to start twice:
- in the same class but with two different horses
- in two different classes but with two different horses.
iii. Horse:
A horse is allowed to start twice, i.e.:
- Once in Medium, Advanced or PSG and once in the Preliminary or Elementary
class.
- Twice in the Preliminary or the Elementary class.
A horse can only be ridden once in each of the following classes: Medium,
Advanced or PSG.
8th March, 2012 Thursday Clinics
Preference is for all clinics to be held at the National Equestrian Center as the judges may wish to use the dressage arena for the clinics. Please ensure that you indicate your availability in the space provided on the entry form and your preferred location; we will do our best to accommodate everyone but location of clinics will be dependent on the judges.
Clinics will be offered to the 10 best placed senior riders (based on percentages) and the best 4 riders in the 12-15 year old age category. Clinics will be 45 minutes in duration. Per the FEI guidelines, only under exceptional circumstances will a confirmed rider be excused from participating in the clinics.
A rider or horse can only participate once in the clinic.
2. CLOSE OF ENTRIES AND FEE
ENTRY FORM
Close of Entries: 20th February 2012 (Monday) at 5pm. Please drop entries off at Hinson Hall or Spicelands Riding Center.
Entry Fee: $80 (Adult competitors – 16 years of age and above)
$70 (Children competitors – 12 to 15 years of age)
Adult competitors are riders who were born in 1996 or before.
Children competitors are riders who were born from 1997 to 2000.
3. BUFFET DINNER & GENERAL DISCUSSION
Dinner is provided free of charge to competitors only. Additional tickets will be available and can be purchased by contacting mingham@northrock.bm or 333-3702. Price of tickets will be confirmed once location and menu have been finalized.
A general discussion will be held with the judges to go over the competition with riders. Please ensure you are able to attend. The clinic schedule will be put together at this time and riders notified of their location and time.
